     A certified child life specialist, Belinda has worked at Children's Hospital in both Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties. She received her BA in Child Development and her MA in Educational Psychology from CSU Northridge, and is working on her PhD in Special Education, Disabilities and Risk Studies at UC Santa Barbara. Belinda is currently a part-time online instructor for Los Angeles Valley College as well as several other California community colleges. She is interested in the education of professionals and educational support for parents on topics related to special education and developmental risk.

     Currently, Belinda is conducting research to learn if there are differential effects on parent and nonparent students of online instruction about early childhood risk.
