LAVC Named Daily News Readers' "Favorite College" for the 2nd Year in a Row

Thank you Daily News readers for naming LAVC as your "Favorite College" in the 2017 Daily News Readers Choice Awards! This year, Valley College joined over 100 local businesses, services, and places to be recognized by Daily News readers as their "Best" and "Favorite" choice winners.

LAVC Named Daily News Readers' "Favorite College" for the 2nd Year in a Row

The readers of the Los Angeles Daily News have named Los Angeles Valley College as a "Favorite College" for a second year in the Daily News 2017 Readers' Choice Awards. The college was recognized in the Sunday, August 25 issue of the newspaper.

Valley College joined over 250 local businesses, services, and places to be recognized by Daily News readers as their "Best" and "Favorite" choice winners. The Readers' Choice Awards features the best of Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.

"A big thank you Daily News readers for recognizing Valley College as your 'Favorite College'," said Dr. Erika Endrijonas. "We are honored to play a role in providing educational opportunities to enhance the economic vitality of the San Fernando Valley."

Los Angeles Valley College serves more than 20,000 students in the San Fernando Valley, and offers associate degrees, general education courses for transferring to a college/university, career training programs. and personal enrichment and lifelong learning opportunities.

The Los Angeles Daily News has held its annual readers choice program since 1999. Daily News readers voted in ballots that ran in both the newspaper and online during the month of June.
