This is your opportunity to get free childcare during the week for kids ages 5-13 years old at the LAVC Child Development Center. Find out if qualify for free after school childcare for your school-aged kids through the LAVC Family Resource Center!

Looking for Free After School Childcare is Available for LAVC Student Parents!

The LAVC Child Development Center (CDC) will have a new school-age classroom available for children from kindergarten up to 13 years of age starting in the Spring 2018 semester.

The LAVC Family Resource Center is now offering qualified student parents the opportunity for free after school childcare at the CDC.

To qualify, the parent needs to be a student at Los Angeles Valley College who is enrolled in at least 3 units, must be Pell Grant Eligible (learn more about the Federal Pell Grant Program), and fill out a School-Age Program Interest Form. 

During Spring Semester 2018, after school childcare is available on the following dates:

  • Mondays from 2:30-10 p.m.
  • Tuesdays from 1:30-10 p.m.
  • Wednesday from 2:30-10 p.m.
  • Thursdays from 2:30-10 p.m.
  • Fridays from 2:30-5 p.m.
