Grant Updates—ICT & Digital Media Regional Deputy Sector Navigator Grant Renewed

Congratulations to LAVC'S ICT & Digital Media-LA Region Deputy Sector Navigator grant for being renewed for 2016-2017 by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office. The grant focuses on curriculum development, revision, and articulation from K-12 to community colleges, and from community colleges to four-year universities for the 18 colleges in the LA region.

Grant Updates—ICT & Digital Media Regional Deputy Sector Navigator Grant Renewed

The California Community College Chancellor's Office Department of Economic and Workforce Development Information Communications Technologies and Digital Media Sector renewed the ICT & Digital Media-LA Region Deputy Sector Navigator grant at LAVC for a total of $300,000 for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. 

The grant covers the eighteen colleges in the Los Angeles region, including the nine LACCD campuses  but also the colleges of the Santa Monica Community College District, Pasadena Community College District, Glendale Community College District and Mt. San Antonio College District.

Working under ICT & Digital Media-LA Region Sector Navigator Steve Wright, the Los Angeles region focuses on curriculum development, revision, and articulation both upward with four-year universities and down to K-12. Dan Watanable, adjunct assistant professor of Broadcasting and Media Arts at LAVC, is the Deputy Sector Navigator for the Los Angeles region.
