LAVC Jewish Studies Professor Emeritus Zev Garber recently spoke at the annual meeting of the National Association of Professors of Hebrew's Society of Biblical Literature. 

LAVC Professor Speaks at a National Association of Professors of Hebrew Conference

Zev Garber, professor emeritus of Jewish Studies at LAVC, spoke at the National Association of Professors of Hebrew's Annual Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature Conference on November 22-23 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Zev led a panel discussion on "Post-missionary Messianic Judiasm Ten Years Later: Assessing the Value and Viability of Mark Kinzer's Proposal for the Role of Jewish Followers of Jesus in the Jewish-Christian Relations". In addition, he spoke in a panel discussion on his book "Teaching the Historical Jesus: Issues and Exegesis".
