Want to be Prepared for the Next "Big One"? Register for LAVC's Earthquake Preparedness Class

LAVC Community Services is now accepting registration for its "Earthquake Preparedness" class on Saturday, August 27 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. being held on campus. 

This one-day course will share how course participants can get their home and family prepared for a natural disaster such as earthquakes, wildfires, and other emergency situations. Participants will learn what to do during and after an emergency, how to prepare an evacuation and communications plan, and how to assemble an emergency supply kit.

This course is led by Margaret Noji, who teaches American Red Cross Babysitters, CPR/AED and First Aid classes.

Space is limited! The registration deadline is 72 hours before the start of the class or until the class is full; early registration is advised.
