LAVC Child Development Faculty Members Present at the CAYCE Conference

Congratulations to Elmida Baghdaserians and Veronica Getskow in the LAVC Child Development Department for being invited to presenting a "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teachers" Workshop on April 21 at the annual California Association for Education of Young Children (CAEYC) Conference.

LAVC Child Development Faculty Members Present at the CAYCE Conference

Elmida Baghdaserians, professor of Child Development and department chair, and Veronica Getskow, assistant professor of Child Development, are presenting at the 2018 California Association for Education of Young Children (CAEYC) Conference and Expo in Pasadena, California.

The workshop titled "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teachers" is going to review each of habits and provide specific strategies of how each teacher (no matter how young or old, or experienced or new) can use these suggested habits to become a more effective teacher.

The CAYCE Conference and Expo is an annual state conference that bringing together early childhood education professionals and providers from across the state, as well as leaders from approximately 28 affiliates and dozens of partner organizations.
