LAVC Dance Program Receives a Flourish Foundation Grant

The Flourish Foundation has recently awarded a grant to the LAVC Dance Program to help support its annual Spring Dance Production, which include guest artists, production costs, and other expenses related to the production. The Spring Dance Production is being held on May 11-13.

Elizabeth Casebolt in the Kinesiology Department applied for the Flourish Foundation grant funds, and this the first time the Dance program has received this grant.

The Flourish Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and provide opportunities for a complete education for middle school, high school and college-aged students in the Los Angeles area, with a primary focus on the performing arts.

The LAVC Dance Program, which is part of the Kinesiology Department, offers day and evening classes in a variety of dance disciplines, including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, social, choreography, dance production, and dance for film and stage.
