ASU Counseling

As the Student Life Counselor, Monica Flores is responsible for providing academic, personal and transfer counseling to students. She serves as the Associated Student Union (ASU) Advisor and guides LAVC student leaders with event planning, conferences and workshops. In addition, she also supports the Inter Club Council (ICC), which are all the clubs on campus. 

Prior to Valley College, Monica worked at an LAUSD high school as a Coordinator for a Title V grant.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at California State University, Long Beach and her Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling from University of La Verne.
