      Ellie has worked with the Los Angeles Valley College CalWORKs program since 1989. She received her M.S. in College Counseling and Guidance from California Lutheran University (CLU) and her M.A. in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge. Now working as a CalWORKs' director, Ellie is responsible for CalWORKs State, City, and County grants. She works closely with students who have educational, career, and/or domestic violence issues. Ellie is a part-time instructor for Los Angeles Valley College and taught career counseling courses at CLU as well.
