The CalWORKs Program at LAVC is an educational, training, and job development program established for students who are currently receiving TANF (Temporary Aid to Needy Families) benefits such as cash aid and other assistance from the Department of Public Social Services.
Our goal is to provide an educational environment where the student may develop the needed vocational skills leading to meaningful employment.
We now offer monthly official GED testing
