LAVC ASU ASU Executive Council

 

1) Are you interested in representing the students at LAVC during the 2012-2013 academic year? 

 

ELECTION INFO IS AS FOLLOWS: 

Pick-up an application packet in SSC-205 (ASU Office) starting Feb. 6th.

Deadline to apply is March 23rd at 1pm

Submit your application packet in SSC-205 (ASU Office)           
Must meet eligibility requirements:

a) must be enrolled in a minimum of 5 units at LAVC

b) must have completed a minimum of 5 units in the district, but no more than 80 units

c) must have a current and cumulative GPA of 2.0

d) cannot be on academic or progress probation

e) cannot hold office for more than 4 semesters in any of the 9 district colleges

f) must pay the $10 ASO fee

 

2) Are you interested in representing students at the district level?

The ASU Executive Council is the student organization that supports campus activities and serves as the official representative of the student body.
The Executive Council meets weekly to address student concerns, share information and plan activities. Meetings are held every Tuesday at 3:00pm in CC104.

To communicate your concerns or issues, contact an Executive Council officer by visiting the ASU office in

SSC- 205 or calling them at (818) 778-5516.
