A Message from the Associate Dean, EOPS/CARE

EOPS - "The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services is funded by the state of California to increase the access and success of students who are low-income and educationally disadvantaged.  We welcome your participation and look forward to serving your educational needs."

EOPS assists low income, full time students who are not eligible for college level English and math and who qualify for fee waiver A or B when they enroll at Valley College.

The following EOPS services are over and above what the college provides:
  • Outreach and Registration Assistance
  • Financial Aid Application Assistance
  • Tutoring
  • College Survival and Study Skills
  • Transfer Assistance
  • Early Registration Assistance
  • Book Services
  • Child Care Assistance (Must qualify and apply for CARE)

  • A Strong Support Network of Dedicated and Caring Staff
