LACCD Open Enrollment & Health Fair

Date: 9/12/2018, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location: Campus Center (CC) Monarch Hall

The LACCD Total Wellness Program and the LACCD Joint Labor/Management Benefits Committee (JLMBC) is presenting an LACCD Open Enrollment & Health Fair at LAVC on Wednesday, September 12 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Monarch Hall located in the Campus Center building.

Open enrollment is an annual opportunity for LACCD employees to review their current enrollments to determine the best options available to them and their family. Factors for employees to consider when selecting their benefits options are:

  • Current plan enrollments and any upcoming plan changes the employee will need in 2019

  • Any new plan deductible or co-pay costs

  • Any life changes that may occur for the employee or their family in the new year

Once an employee has reviewed their plan options, he/she can make additions, changes or deletions to their benefits, which will be become effective on January 1, 2019.

Employee health benefits are provided in partnership with the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS). Open Enrollment, including the health plans are available on the CalPERS Web site.

There will also be an opportunity to win a mountain bike, donated by Health Connexxtions Expos, during this year’s Open Enrollment & Health Fair event. In addition, a representative from our Health Benefits Unit will be onsite to answer employee questions about enrollment into the health insurance plans, and even help them make changes to their plan enrollments right on the spot!
