Advanced Canvas (Face-to-Face) Training Session

LAVC Distance Education Office is offering Advanced Canvas certification trainings for faculty in Winter Session 2018 and the Spring 2018 semester. 

The following is a schedule Advanced Canvas training sessions are being offered during Spring 2018:

Advanced Canvas
The advanced course is designed for faculty who have already been trained in Canvas and have set up course shells. Topics will include discussion and assignment features, rubrics, groups, speed grader, implementing the OEI rubric for course design and using Canvas to interact more with your students through Adaptive Learning.

This training is only available through face-to-face training session:

  • Face-to-Face

    • Thursday, February 22 from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. in Library Academic Resources Center (LARC) 201

    • Thursday, April 12 from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. in Library Academic Resources Center (LARC) 201

The training sessions are wheelchair accessible.
