"Dracula" Presented by the LAVC Theater Department

The Los Angeles Valley College Theater Department presents an adaptation of Dracula by the noted Scottish poet and playwright Liz Lochhead on Thursday, November 9, Friday, November 10, and Saturday, November 11 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, November 12 at 2 p.m. in the Horseshoe Theater in the Theater Arts building. 

This production of Bram Stoker's undying horror classic in a poetic, chilling and thought-provoking modern retelling by the noted Scottish poet and playwright. 

The cast of Dracula includes Valley students Sasha Biktagarov, Enver Messano, Joshua Esquivel, Sophia Palermo, Serena Kashmir, Cole Castine, James Biggs, Bobbi Pemberton, Christine Semerdzyan, Valeria Chagui, Jack Davtyan, Layla Zhao, Breanna Goldstein, Andrea de Anda, and Maria Avila.

Scenery and lighting are designed by theater chair Jennifer Read, and costumes are by LAVC alum Aurora Sanchez. The production stage manager is LAVC student Victor Gonzalez and assistant stage manager is LAVC student Alexandra Han.

Seating is limited in this limited run (only four performances). This play is produced in repertory with Dr. Frankenstein, Mary Shelley's iconic novel in a brand new adaptation by Selma Dimitrijevic. 

Tickets for Dracula are $15 if purchased online at, and $20 at the door.
