Spring 2019 Finals Crunch Time: "De-Stress Lounge at General Tutoring"

The LAVC Library, Academic Resource Center, Student Life Office, and PTK are offering a "Crunch Time" to help student prepare for finals.

Finals are coming. You don’t have to sweat it alone! It's time to buckle down, and put in some extra time with your LAVC workout crew. Bring your assignments and train with the best! Bulk up your study skills! Get those citations in shape! Crunch those numbers! Prepare to dominate your finals! 

The following is a schedule of all the Spring 2019 Finals Crunch Time activities: 

  • Crunch Time: Late-Night Study Jam on Monday-Thursday, May 20-23 from 6-10 p.m. in the Lion's Study Lair in SU 216. Prepare for finals with free tutoring in open study space with free coffee/snacks and stress relief.

  • Study Micro-Breaks at the Library on Monday-Thursday, May 20-23 from 8 a.m.-8:30 p.m. and Friday, May 24 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Take a micro-break from studying with coloring and giant crossword puzzles.

  • De-Stress Lounge at General Tutoring on Monday-Thursday, May 20-23 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Friday, May 24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in LARC 213. Come de-stress at the General Tutoring Center with puzzles and cozy seating. 

  • Late-Night Study Break at the Lion's Den on Monday-Thursday, May 20-23 from 6-10 p.m. in the Lion's Den in Student Union 207. Take a break from studying at the Lion's Den and play with the pool table and foosball table.

  • Stress-Less Game Day with PTK on Wednesday, May 22 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Senate Conference Room in ACA 1601. Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) invites you to come unwind with fun board games and free pizza/snacks/drinks.

These events are wheelchair accessible. Parking: Guest should park in Parking Structure – 2-4 Floors. Parking permits are required at all times. Daily Parking permits for student parking spots can be purchased at an LAVC parking pay station. View campus map
