Coach Perry enters her first season as assistant coach for the Monarch women’s basketball program. Perry comes to LAVC from UC Santa Cruz where she served as an assistant coach.

As a player, Perry served as the team's captain and earning First Team All-Conference in 2005-2007 under Coach Ned MIrcetic at Ventura College. After earning her Associate degree, Perry attended Notre Dame de Namur University to continue her education and basketball career. With her leadership skills, she was the team's captain while starting both years. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2009, Perry continues her education to achieve her Master’s degree in special education.
