The LAVC men's cross country finished a strong 5th place as a team at the Moorpark Invitational. Battling the heat, Andrew Salg led the Monarchs with a 6th place overall over the 5K course, followed by teammates German Sanchez, Francisco Rodriguez, Agustin Rios, and German Cruz ( top 5 men). LAVC outscored LATT and finished as the top 4 teams in the WSC conference.

MenLAVC men's cross country team placed a respectable 7th place at the Ventura Invitational!!! Led by freshman Andrew Salg, the Monarchs finished 7th against a strong field, outscoring LATT 217, SBCC 219, Bakersfield 236, Rio Hondo 257, and Citrus 348. LAVC scored 207 points with Salg placing 7th overall. LAVC finished 5th in the WSC conference. Results:

The LAVC men's cross country team finished a strong 3rd at the Beaver Invitational on a hot day at Pierce college. Led by Freshmen Andrew Salg and German Sanchez, the Monarchs rallied together in placing 5 men in the top 33 spots. Salg and Sanchez placed 5th and 11th overall, followed by German Cruz 17th, jesus Correa 29th and Francisco Rodriguez 33rd.

Andrew Salg ran away from the field the last 600m to win the Bakersfield Invitational with a sensational time of 21:13 over the 4 mile course.German Sanchez placed 9th overall as teammate German Cruz finishes 13th to cap the top 3 for the Monarchs.
