The Associated Student Union (ASU) is an excellent way to become involved at Los Angeles Valley College. You can join a club or develop valuable leadership skills by becoming an officer. The Associated Student Union consists of two branches: the Executive Council and the Interclub Council. Both councils work together to create a student-centered environment at Valley College. There are many opportunities to make a difference by applying for an Executive Council office or joining a club. When you pay your $7.00 ASU semester membership you are helping foster a positive learning environment at Valley College. In addition, you benefit as a member.

HOW DO YOU BENEFIT?

• You can enjoy the many student-centered events, activities and programs that the ASU provides throughout the year.
• You can join a student club or create a new one.
• You are able to serve on the ASU Executive Council. (If elected and you are eligible)
• You get to enjoy the services of Lion's Den, a cyber lounge with 16 computers, a big screen television, a pool table, and video games. Hours are Monday through Thursday 10am to 7:00pm
• ASU also provides the students with the Textbook Exchange boards. These boards are for students to buy, sell or trade textbooks.
